Welcome to the wonderful world of education!! I am the Special Education Director/Teacher and 8th Grade Reading Teacher. I graduated in 2009 from Cameron University with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Then, because I believe that learning is a life-long process, I pursued my graduate degree, also at Cameron University, in the area of Education- Reading Specialist. I graduated with my Masters Degree in May of 2012. I spent my first year of teaching as a regular education teacher at Geronimo. However, I had a goal to become a Special Education Teacher, so I went to Lawton Public Schools at worked at Tomlinson Middle School in the area of Special Education. Now I am back in Geronimo, where my heart has always been!
My students are my passion and I strive to do my absolute best everyday to help them be successful. Having grown up in Geronimo, I have a love for this school. I have great expectations for what Geronimo Bluejays can become!
I am the motherful to two beautiful, amazing children named Chrissa and Dayson-who are both Geronimo Bluejays!! My husband, Chris, also is an alumni of Geronimo High School. Our family is very active in the community and wants to see the town reach its full potentail!
